Derrick & Tawanda Parker

Derrick along with his lovely wife Tawanda have worked in the financial services industry for the last 14 years in Bowie, MD. He is a graduate of Loras College in Dubuque, IA where he received a BA in Business Management.

Originally from Evanston IL, Derrick came to Maryland thru the guise of a late brother Steve who previously played for the Baltimore Colts.
Upon his sudden death he learned quickly the importance of financial literacy for families. Tawanda on the other hand is a native Washingtonian who spent over 15 years working for the US Senate.

Together they serve on the companies prestigious Financial Independence & African American Leadership Councils. They both continue to serve as a pillar in their community at large by speaking with schools, community groups, small and large companies on the vast importance of financial education.

Outside of business Derrick & Tawanda are devoted parents. They love to travel, workout and are avid readers.
